Do you take insurance?

The office works with the insurance plans in its provider network and helps with claims for covered services.

Is chiropractic care safe?

When performed by a licensed and trained chiropractor, chiropractic care is a safe treatment option. Dr. Bak is licensed in good standing with the South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Does chiropractic care hurt?

Most patients do not experience pain during chiropractic adjustments. If you would prefer a gentler approach, Activator-assisted adjustments are available on request.

How long does a visit take?

The length of each session depends on the treatments you receive. Your first appointment usually takes 45 minutes to an hour.

Are all patients adjusted the same way?

No. Dr. Bak develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient based on their unique needs.

What is a chiropractor?

Dr. Bak specializes in treating neuromuscular disorders and how they affect both physical and mental health.

Do you see children?

Yes. Dr. Bak treats patients of all ages, including children. Some parents bring their children in for care soon after they are born.

Can I have chiropractic care during pregnancy?

Pregnant patients can safely receive chiropractic care. The practice recommends speaking with your obstetrician or gynecologist before booking your appointment.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome during office hours, and you can also schedule ahead. Saturdays are by appointment only.

Do you see emergencies?

Emergency visits are available when you need them: call (605) 206-3437. For a medical emergency, call 911 first.

What are your hours?

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; Wednesday and Friday 7:30 am to 12:00 pm; Saturday by appointment only; closed Sunday.

How can I pay?

American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, debit cards, cash, checks and insurance.

Where are you, and is there parking?

At 1 5th Street SE in Watertown. There is a free parking lot, and both the entrance and the parking lot are wheelchair accessible.

Can I have a gentler adjustment?

Yes. Activator-assisted adjustments are available on request as a gentler alternative to manual adjustments.
