Your first visit

Every plan starts with finding out exactly where you are off. Dr. Bak takes the time to listen, assesses you thoroughly and builds a treatment plan around your own needs.

Your first appointment usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. Walk-ins are welcome, and the office works with insurance.

Adjustments and physiotherapy

Then comes the correction. Manual spinal adjustments restore proper alignment and relieve pressure on nerves, and an Activator-assisted adjustment is there if you would like a gentler one.

Cold laser, electrical stimulation, interferential current and ultrasound help reduce pain and inflammation while you heal.

Rehabilitation

Then the work of holding it. Active care rehabilitation and exercise rebuild the strength, flexibility, balance and core stability that keep you aligned, and help prevent the next injury.

For weekend warriors and competitive athletes alike.

Long-term wellness

The goal is long-term well-being, not a quick fix. Problem-focused nutritional counseling and intestinal regeneration support work on inflammation, digestion, energy and weight, to help you stay well for years to come.

Dr. Brian Bak

Born and raised in Beresford, South Dakota, Brian Bak captained his high school basketball and golf teams and played quarterback. When low back pain threatened a season, the local chiropractor had him back on the court at full speed within a week, and chiropractic became his great love.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in St. Paul in 1986 and has practiced in the Glacial Lakes area ever since. He also directs the Glacial Lakes Harmonizers men's barbershop chorus.

  • Bak Chiropractic is great! Came in after a fall on the sidewalk...Rib, neck and low back pain...Dr Bak has been great in getting me back in working order! He explains at each visit what I can do on my end as well: icing the areas and how many times each day...plus he takes the time to answer any questions I have..
